What Consumers Want: A New Commercial Holiday

Kearney (formerly A.T. Kearney) captured the thoughts of 1,000 US consumers and their attitudes toward commercial holidays. The 2019 Commercial Holiday Survey discovered an unmet consumer need for a new commercial holiday—a day like Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day, but with a difference: shoppers would use the new day to celebrate themselves.
